ISL Direct Support Professional
FULL TIME & PART TIME
Hourly wage position
Responsibilities include:
• Provide direct support care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Implement the individual’s personal support plan.
• Provide supervision and guidance for the supported individual(s) at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals, assisting with personal hygiene, etc.
• Administer, document, and monitor the administration of individual(s) prescribed medications.
• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties.
• Complete daily logs and reports as outlined by agency policy.
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment.
• Develop a rapport with residents and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship.
DEGREED PROFESSIONAL MANAGER
FULL TIME
Salaried position
Responsibilities include:
• Staff training and supervision.
• Quality enhancement monitoring.
• Direct plan implementation for individuals as needed.
• Monitoring implementation of outcomes.
• Establishing information collection systems.
• Writing monthly reviews.
• Oversight/coordination of all the person’s programs and services being received.
• Coordinating the development of the ISP (scheduling, facilitation and summary document).

Day Hab Direct Support Professional
FULL TIME & PART TIME
Contracted position
Responsibilities include:
• Provide direct support care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Implement the individual’s personal support plan.

• Assist with day center activities and community outings.
• Administer, document, and monitor the administration of individual(s) prescribed medications.
• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties.
• Complete daily logs and reports as outlined by agency policy..
• Develop a rapport with residents and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship.
Training Requirements
ISL Direct support Professional
Educational Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Current certification in a competency based CPR/First Aid Course.
• Current certification in Medication Administration Level 1.
• Training in preventing, detecting, and reporting of abuse and neglect.
• Training in the implementation of (each individual’s current) service plan/addendums.
• Training in a positive behavior support curriculum approved by the Division of DD.
• Training in HIPAA Compliance and Client Confidentiality.
• Training in Client’s Rights
• Training in Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)
DEGREED PROFESSIONAL MANAGER
Educational Requirements:
• One or more years of professional experience as (a) a registered nurse, (b) in social work, special education, psychology, counseling vocational rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy or a closely related area, or (c) in providing direct care to people with DD.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 24 semester hours or 36 quarter hours of credit in one or a combination of human service field specialties. Additional experience as a registered nurse may substitute on a year-for-year basis for a maximum of two years of required education.
• Current certification in a competency based CPR/First Aid Course.
